What is Sauce?
Understanding the type of sauces is essential while thinking about sauce bottling and filling options. Whether liquid or semi-liquid, the sauce adds taste, moisture, and visual attractiveness to the cuisine. To get the perfect consistency and flavor, it is cooked boiling, simmering, or mixing ingredients.
Sauce Flavor
Sauces have savory and sweet flavors. It is usually eaten with a dish or added directly to enhance the flavor. The widespread popularity of sauces in different countries highlights their importance in the global cooking tradition. Many people derive enjoyment from these flavorful additions to their meals, creating a substantial market for packaging, filling, and dosing sauces for retail distribution.
Sauce Characteristics
The physical property of sauce is viscosity, which consists of a flowing part and solids. The flowing part may be water, oil or other condiments such as sauce and vinegar, while the solid part may be processed irregular crops or meat and other diced objects. These things are cooked in a wok for a long time and complete a specific process to become the sauce that people usually eat. Due to the long cooking, most of the solids in the sauce are dissolved in the flowing object, which is very viscous and easy to adhere to the surface wall of the container.
Sauce Brand
Notable global brands such as Heinz, Masterfoods and Rosella exemplify the impact of quality sauces on consumer preferences. Packaging options for sauces are diverse and cater to different consumer needs – ranging from traditional glass jars and PET bottles to convenient sachets and stand pouches.
The Advanced Sauce Filling Technology
Precautions on Sauce Filling Machine
When filling the sauce, the filling machine must ensure that the flowing part and the solids are basically uniform when the sauce is divided, and at the same time, the total weight must be within a weighing range and not exceed the standard. When manually filling, when pouring the sauce into the bottle with a spoon, it is visually checked to be basically uniform and the volume is controlled to be similar, so as to ensure that the filling requirements are met. This work actually requires quite high skills. Uniformity and weight are in the hands and feet. Experienced filling employees always use spoons to balance the ratio of liquid objects and solid objects in the sauce, otherwise it is difficult to meet the filling requirements.
Since the liquid objects are mainly oil, we know that the specific gravity of oil is relatively light. In this way, for most sauces, the liquid objects are always on the top, and the solid objects are basically at the bottom. The filling machine cannot use a spoon to balance the ratio like manual filling. Professional technicians seem to have described it inadvertently. In fact, most filling machine manufacturers have not focused on this phenomenon, and the equipment purchasing personnel of the manufacturer have not had any filling experience in normal times, and have ignored this requirement for filling equipment. Therefore, after the purchased equipment is put into production, this defect is discovered, and irreparable consequences have been cast.
Precautions on the Sauce Filling Process
Most of us can only reach a basic cognitive stage of understanding things, and the problem of oil-solid uniformity in sauce filling is the same. Most people think that as long as a certain amount of stirring is performed, the filling machine can basically fill evenly. In fact, this is a false proposition.
The discharge port of the filling machine hopper is at the bottom of the hopper. Since the specific gravity of the materials of each component in the sauce is different, the fluid part has the lightest specific gravity. Therefore, when the mixer blade rotates, it is impossible to stir the material evenly. The light fluid part is basically mostly on the top, and the heavy solid part at the bottom is almost still at the bottom. The improvement effect is not obvious. Therefore, the idea of mixing to make the sauce uniform is very misleading.
Precautions on Volumetric Sauce Filling Machine
Due to the particularity of sauces, filling machines use volume as a measuring tool, and piston cylinders basically achieve the measurement. Therefore, when measuring, the piston has a suction action, which sucks the sauce into the piston cylinder.
When there is a lot of material in the filling machine hopper, the fluid part is far away from the valve port, so the front filled product is generally drier. As the hopper material decreases, the fluid part will be closer and closer to the valve port, and the situation will change in the opposite direction. More and more fluid parts will be poured into the bottle, which is a common phenomenon in the sauce filling industry. The front is drier, the middle is thinner, and the back is full of solids. This brings trouble to normal production. Basically, the filling machine cannot smoothly fill a whole pot of sauce.
After learning from previous experience, we added an intelligent feeder in front of the filling machine. After the material is basically evenly distributed, it is provided to the filling machine. Whether you prefer a thick, hearty sauce with visible particles or a smooth, fluid dressing, we have the perfect solution for you.
